Selma, Al- Microwave Roasters, Inc. Microwave Roasters, a subsidiary of Pop N Go, announced today that they have obtained an order for their new MicroRinds (microwave pork rinds) from the leading independent supermarket in the state of Louisiana. The order was placed by the wholesaler that provides most of the everyday products to that company.
Steve Grossman, President of Microwave Roasters, was particularly pleased with this order. "The buyer for the supermarket asked his supplier to get him a competing brand of microwave pork skins. But when he saw the advantages of our MicroRinds, he switched over to our brand. We expect to do significant ongoing business with this chain and with other retailers in Louisiana. That's good pork skin country!"
Microwave Roasters produces two flavors of microwave pork skins, Original and Hot N Spicy, and both will be introduced into this supermarket chain. The Company also manufactures two other unique microwave snacks, MicrOrings, an onion-ring snack, and Micro Bak’n, a bacon flavored chip. All MRI products "pop" in the microwave, and all are very low in fat, calories, carbs and cholesterol.
In April of this year, Pop N Go acquired a majority interest in this Alabama company. Both companies specialize in snacks that are fresh and healthy.
